Calculator and tool inputs
Current calculator figures are processed in your browser. The site does not deliberately transmit or store those financial inputs on our servers. Most calculators keep entries only while the page is open, so refreshing or leaving can lose them. The Money MOT offers optional saving in browser storage on this device; My Money Dashboard reads that saved summary and separately stored actions or Reset progress. These are not cloud backups and do not transfer to another device. Use the relevant tool’s delete controls to remove saved entries; clearing browser storage can also remove them. Payday Reset and the Side-Hustle Calculator do not save financial entries.
Print / Save as PDF
When you use your browser's Print or Save as PDF function, your device creates the output. SaveAndMakeMoney.com does not receive or store the resulting PDF.
Technical website data
Like normal websites, our hosting, security and network providers may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps and security-related logs. We do not use calculator figures as analytics data.

If you contact contact@saveandmakemoney.com, your email address and anything you choose to include in the message will be processed so we can read and respond to it. Please do not email bank details, passwords or other information we do not need.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 only if you choose to accept analytics cookies. It helps us understand visits, page views, scrolls, outbound-link clicks and selected site/tool actions so we can improve the website. We do not deliberately send the financial figures you type into our calculators to Google Analytics. If you reject analytics cookies, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. Some guides link to third-party websites, including authoritative UK organisations. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their notices when you leave this site.
Why technical and contact data may be processed
Technical request data is processed where necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website. We rely on legitimate interests where that is the appropriate lawful basis for protecting and running the service. If you email us, we process the information in your message so we can deal with your enquiry, normally on the basis of our legitimate interests in communicating with visitors and operating the site.
Service providers and international processing
Website hosting, security, DNS and email services can involve specialist providers processing technical or contact data on our behalf. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant provider arrangements should provide those safeguards.
How long information is kept
We do not set a retention period for calculator inputs because the current site does not deliberately receive or store them. Technical security and delivery logs are retained according to operational need and the retention settings of the relevant infrastructure provider. Contact emails are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to deal with the enquiry, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights over personal data we hold about you, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection.
